Haven't heard of Temtem yet, will google it! But while I didn't play games, I got a lot into some series lately like Locke & Key, The Witcher, Next In Fashion (all on Netflix) or Star Trek: Picard. I can understand why, but it's still sad and even though I haven't replied much, I always followed your chart and it was such a pleasure to do so. I already saw it once you changed the title of your personal chart to just the chart name without a new date. Yet another chart that's large and in charge, Tancel! Hm. I still need to get around to High Road."Ashes" has been the clear Treat Myself standout for me (of the new tracks), but the album's better than I expected overall given its messy/complicated release history. I remember you were into "Genetics" back when Meghan dropped it as a random single, so I'm not too shocked to see the album version with PCD start strong here.Having a children's choir in the background isn't up-my-alley either. I appreciate what Tay's trying to say in "Only The Young," but the chorus is a tad too simple and repetitive to hook me the way many of her other songs do.
I'm definitely digging "Physical" more than "Don't Start Now.".I wasn't expecting "Alanis' Interlude" to be the highest-charting new Manic track, though! Is it cause your bussy's a wonderland? "I Hate Everybody" really stood out to me (SO relatable sometimes) "Dominic's Interlude" and "Still Learning" are also among my most-played so far. Great to see "You Should Be Sad" still inside your Top 3, since I'm still loving it too.It reminds me a bit of Nicki's catchy rap/dance hybrids from the early-2010's ("Starships," "Va Va Voom," etc). I don't know Doja Cat well (aside from her feature on Tove's album), but I'm pretty impressed with "Boss Bitch" on first listen.Did Sword ever manage to suck you back in? It's only in "early access" for now, so the game isn't complete, but I'm enjoying the parts of it that are available. Lately I've dived into Temtem, since I kept reading comparisons to Pokémon. I've been scaling back my UKMIXing, but January had several album releases that I knew you'd be checking out too, so I had to pop in here to see how they're faring! Quick PokéUpdate: I finished Sword (well, not the entire Curry Dex or Battle Tower, but the main story and post-game mini-story).
